This award was created to honor athletes who earn a position on the awards podium at the National Championships and encourage their continued participation in the sport. In that spirit, these athletes will receive a credit toward their entry fees for the next season’s state championships.
The
credit calculations are (per athlete):
Gold medal – 100% of first event fee covered
Silver medal – 75% of first event fee covered
Bronze medal – 50% of first event fee covered
Any Podium Ribbon – 25% of first event fee covered
Any Additional Podium Award – 1 additional event fee
covered for each additional award
The
credits are applied to the athletes’ state championships entry fees at the time
of registration.
