USAG T&T Trampoline Overview


USAG T&T Trampoline competition is governed by a mobility system divided into 12 levels. Levels 1-10, Junior Elite, and Elite consist of 2 passes. Mobility up to level 9 is left to the coach's discretion in-gym. Mobility past level 9 must be achieved at a sanctioned event and must be judged by a rated panel.

Scoring consists of the sum of 3 aesthetic scores plus a difficulty award (optional routines only, level 10 and above) for each routine. Routine scores are cummulative. Routine requirements and mobility requirements are listed below.

A routine consists of ten consecutive skills. The last skills must land on two feet.

Level 10 Voluntary Requirements:

The second routine is a 10-skill voluntary The routine must contain a minimum of one single somersault with a minimum of 360° of twist. A 2.0 deduction will be taken from the total score if the required somersault is missing from the routine. The difficulty value of the voluntary routine must be equal to or higher than that of the compulsory. Maximum difficulty - 7.0 (If a competitor exceeds the maximum difficulty, they will receive only 7.0.) No skill may be repeated. A repeated skill will not receive difficulty credit.


Level 10 competitors are eligible to compete at the National Championships if they achieve the required qualifying scores which are listed below:

0.1 per 1/4 somersault
0.1 per 1/2 twist
0.2 per 1/2 turntable
0.1 bonus for pike or straight position per.360 degree rotation for non-twisting somersaults less than 720 degrees and all somersaults of 720 degrees or more
